The Heart of GloryLand
The Call of Father God, Unity and Outreach
Jesus prayer in John the 17th chapter…” Father, the hour has come, Glorify Your Son that Your Son may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours. You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. Now they have known that all things which you have given Me are from You. For I have given to them the words which You have given Me and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me. I pray for them, I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are yours, and Yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, “that they may be one as We are. Vs. 13b that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.”
I have given them Your Word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. Vs. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth, Your Word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us………….that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one. I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
WOW …What a prayer!!! Jesus heart speaks out that all believers be one as He is with the Father.
(1) That our Joy may be full
(2) That His love may be manifested to each other
(3) That the world may believe on the only begotten of the Father, His Son
(4) That we might all share in the eternal life which He has promised in His Word.
When Paul was in custody his movements were restricted, however he continued to guide the early church and preach the gospel. In the 4th chapter of Ephesians he put them in remembrance to walk worthy of their calling, to walk in unity, humility, longsuffering and love. He stressed that there is One body and one spirit, just as you were called to one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all, and in you all. It is not by might, nor by power, but by the Holy Spirit of God we can accomplish anything to the furtherance of His kingdom on earth. It is Christ in us, the hope of Glory. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We as believers have been given the awesome responsibility of walking in obedience to our calling. The world around us is in a state of rebellion against its creator. Just as it was in the beginning God spoke into a chaotic mess, let there be light. He is speaking through His body today, let there be light. We need to be found faithful. In the book of Genesis, Chapter 3, the Lord God dealt with the origin of disobedience and sin. He told the serpent that He would put enmity between your seed and the seed of the woman. He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise His heel. This was spoken concerning Christ and His cross and the final defeat of Satan. The initial battle for us as believers has already been won at Calvary, however there is still a battle for the world around us who do not realize that there is a price to be paid for sin and requires a remedy. In the beginning God spoke the worlds into being. He is speaking today by His Holy Word, through believers. We need to speak into the darkness of people’s lives and bring them the light of God’s Word. Whatever the need, Christ will plant the seed, and wipe out the weed of sin. We turn on the news and see and hear of wars and rumors of wars. We see and hear of floods, earthquakes and chaos in just about every country of the world. We hear about Israel being surrounded on every side by enemies. These are all signs of the end times and the soon appearing of Jesus back to this earth.
The time is short. Every believer has the responsibility to go and tell the wonderful message of Christ. One day we will all stand before Jesus Christ to give an account of what we have done with what He has given us to do. We need to be found faithful. Let us be found obedient to His heart. Let us come together in unity as believers to go out to the highways and byways and invite them to the marriage supper of the lamb. Go to those who do not understand there is a price to be paid when God’s plan of eternal life is rejected. We do not know when the window of opportunity will close. Let us walk in obedience while it is still day. We might not always agree on every form of doctrine or every word written however we can strive toward unity on the one main truth of the Words of Christ. Luke 24; Thus it was necessary for Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the 3rd day and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations. (Peoples). This is the gospel. In the book of Acts, they were all of one accord when the Holy Ghost fell upon them and 3,000 souls were saved by the preaching of one called Peter.
One day while mediating on the LORD I saw in a vision, and tears were flowing from the eyes of my savior. I asked Him why He was crying. In my heart I heard the words, “My heart is broken for the division of My people.” O how much His heart cries out for the unity of His body and the lost. We all need to call on our Lord in repentance for our lack of discernment, obedience, and love. We need to see the Glory manifested again in our day. We need to come together in love and unity of Spirit to see the harvest brought in and the heart of Jesus healed over the division of His people. It is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the Lord. Our God has done so much for us, what more can He do. He is waiting on His body to come together in love. obedience and unity to go forth to reap the harvest. It is time to start building the KINGDOM OF GOD, to be about our father’s business, instead of our own. The manifest Presence of His Glory will resul,t and believers will be added to His body.
