When God heard the cries of the children of Israel because of their bondage, sorrows and slavery, He called Moses to go to Pharaoh and request that the children of Israel be given their freedom to leave and go to the land He had promised to their forefathers.   Moses asked the questions, “when I come to the children of Israel and they ask who sent me to them and what is his name?  What shall I say to them?”  And God said to Moses “I AM WHO I AM,” and thus you shall say to the children of Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.  This is My name, and thus is my memorial to all generations. “Refer to Exodus 3:13-16. 

JESUS asked His disciples “Who do you say that I am?”   Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”  Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”  Jesus was saying, yes Peter, I AM the Son of God and He has revealed and is revealing to you a great mystery.  Let us discover more of this great mystery.

For those of you who have cried out to God because of some problem you are seeking answers to.  You may wonder why has this or that happened?  What is the hope for the future? Where is God in all this?  You may feel alone and rejected and not know which way to turn.  I believe that the God of heaven has heard those cries, and has sent His Son Jesus to answer those very questions.   First of all lets look at who God is and who Jesus himself claimed to be.  We will be exploring who Jesus Christ really is, His deity and why Father God sent Him to earth
